Access specific revisions

In the Visual Studio IDE, you can get, check out, check in, or undo a check out on a specific revision of a file, rather than the latest revision.

To take action on a specific file revision, right-click the file and select History. From the revision history, you can get, check out, check in, or undo checkout of a revision.

Getting revisions from the revision history overwrites your local copy of the file.
