Add action description

You can add an action description to a Dimensions CM request.

PRIVILEGES: Add/edit detailed description.

To add an action description:

  1. In the desktop client, select a Dimensions CM request in a request list.

  2. Select Request > Add Action Description.

  3. In the Add Action Description dialog box, add the action description.

  4. Click OK.

Note: Dimensions CM 14.6 and earlier uses the system's default text application for editing descriptions. To revert to this behavior, modify the dm.cfg server configuration file and set the DM_DESCRIPTION_EDITOR symbol to <system>. For details, see Assign editors and browsers.
