Select [object] to Open dialog box

In this dialog box, you select baselines, design parts, releases, or projects/streams to open. You also use this dialog box to select the user for whom Dimensions CM opens an inbox.

The display of this dialog box varies depending on the object.

To open a stream, see Open streams and set defaults.

To open a project, see Open projects and set defaults.

Field Description Rules and guidelines

(list of users)

Select a user whose Pending objects you want to open.

This field is displayed when you open a Pending Items list, a Pending Requests list, or a Pending Baselines list.

Products

Select the product containing the objects you want to open.

  

Projects

Select projects/streams.

This field is displayed when you open a Project Catalog.

Design Parts

Select design parts.

This field is displayed when you open a Design Part Structure or an Item Catalog.

Baselines

Select baselines.

This field is displayed when you open a Baseline Catalog.

Releases

Select releases.

This field is displayed when you open a Release Catalog.

Open

Opens the selected object.

  

Open All

Opens all objects.

This field is displayed for baselines, releases, and projects/streams.
