Change products

Switch products in the web client to work with items, requests, and baselines that are owned by a different product.

You can use a product that is different from the one that owns the current project/stream. If the current project/stream is set to $GENERIC:$GLOBAL, setting a product enables you to see an actual design part structure in the navigation pane.

To switch products:

  1. In the web client's status area at the bottom of the screen, click the Product link. The Change Product dialog box opens.

  2. In the Product Name list, select a product to change to.

    To change to the product that owns your current project/stream, select <default>. This option automatically switches to the product that owns the project/stream whenever you change project/streams.

  3. Click OK.
