Select deployment areas

In the navigation pane of the Deployment view, select the deployment areas and projects/streams whose deployments, promotions, and demotions are displayed in the content pane.

Use the navigation pane to select the following:

  • All areas.

  • Areas for a particular stage.

  • A specific area within a stage.

  • A specific project or stream within an area.

Apply a filter to the navigation pane to view the nodes for a specific project or stream.

The following table describes how to use the navigation tree:

Task Description
Select all areas. Click the top-level node.
Select the areas for a specific Deployment stage. Click a stage node.
Select a specific area. Expand the stage node and click a deployment area node.
Select a specific project or stream within an area. Click the node for the project or stream. Click the project/stream with a tick for to select your current project/stream.
Filter the navigation tree.

  1. Click the filter icon at the top right of the navigation pane.

  2. In the Deployment Filter dialog box:

    • To select your current project or stream, click Show current Stream.

    • To select another project or stream, enter the stream/project ID, for example:

      <product>:<name>)

      Or use search to find the project or stream.

    • To select the project or stream you have recently selected, click the name under Recent searches...

    The name of the project/stream is displayed at the top of the navigation pane, and the filter icon is now green, indicating that a filter is active.
Remove the filter from the navigation tree.

  1. Click the filter icon at the top right of the navigation pane.

  2. In the Deployment Filter dialog box, click Show all areas.
