DevOps Aviator

Aviator Smart Assistant

The Aviator Smart Assistant is an AI-powered virtual assistant that can analyze items, suggest improvements, and more.

  • Smart Assistant supports features, user stories, defects and manual tests.

  • Ask Aviator to create test steps for your manual tests, or to rewrite manual tests as Gherkin (BDD) tests.

  • You can now continue a conversation with Smart Assistant.

  • User-defined memo fields are now also used as input.

Create automated codeless tests

You can now use Aviator to create automated codeless tests based on existing manual tests.

Manual test suggestions using Aviator

Send dashboard snapshot by email

You can now send an HTML dashboard snapshot by email directly from the dashboard.

Share menu All dashboard sharing options are now accessible from the Sharing options menu in the toolbar.
Document report enhancements

When including images in Document reports, you can now embed them in the report instead of accessing them through a link.

Board view

The following board view enhancements are available:

  • Base your feature board columns on any single-selection field for easier planning and tracking. For example, product managers can use a milestone field to share their roadmap with the team.

  • You can now easily access the most important information by customizing card fields in any board.

You can now convert user stories and defects into quality stories and vice versa.

Copy user and quality stories to other workspaces

In addition to defects, you can now copy or move user stories and quality stories to other workspaces.

New labels for dependency-related fields The following dependency-related fields have been renamed for greater clarity:

The new fields Start time delay and End time delay enable you to identify and track overdue process items. You can use these fields to trigger alerts using business rules, view overdue items in a dashboard, and sort or filter grids and other views.

You can now use Selenium with TestNG to automate your Model-Based Testing units, in addition to OpenText Functional Testing actions and codeless scripts.

Execution: Support AUT behind the firewall

A new tunneling solution allows you to configure Functional Test Execution to run tests from the cloud on applications hosted on your local or private networks.

You can now delete schedules and scheduled runs.

  • You can now execute OpenText Functional Testing automated tests on mobile devices.

  • In the Scheduled Runs tab, you can now drill down to details on each suite run that is in progress, and see the duration and progress of its execution.

Universal bulk update

Bulk update can now be applied to all fields, including program, release, milestone, sprint and team. Comments can also be added using bulk update.

You can now allow other users to edit your dashboards and favorites.

Download multiple attachments You can now download or copy links for multiple attachments at the same time. For details, see Attachments.
Accessibility improvements

The following accessibility improvements are available:

  • Fixed several limitations relating to keyboard navigation.

  • The following keyboard shortcut is added: Alt+F10 to access the memo field toolbar buttons.

  • You can open sub menus using the alt + arrow right key combination.

Administration

The following administration enhancements are available:

Sprint custom field

You can now create custom fields of type Sprint.

Filter available values for reference fields

You can now filter the available values for reference fields, such as Release and Team, using the Modify lookup list action in a business rule.

Activity log ID in webhook payload

When triggered by an event, such as adding or updating an entity, the webhook payload now includes the activity log ID of the event.

Dashboard permissions

The administrator can now define which users have permission to create and modify dashboards.

Adjust requirements maximum tree level

You can now adjust the number of levels allowed in the Requirements tree. Previously the limit was set to 12 levels. Set a new limit using the MAX_TREE_DEPTH_REQUIREMENTS parameter. For details, see Configuration parameters and Requirements.

Default setting to include searchable fields

The administrator can now define the default setting of the Include Searchable Fields option in global searches, by setting the SEARCH_ALL_SEARCHABLE_BY_DEFAULT parameter. For details, see Configuration parameters.

Search and filter API access keys You can now search, filter, and group the list of API access keys. For details, see API access.
Custom icons for entities

You can now set a new label and color for entities, based on a condition that you define.

Cross-workspace copy permission

You can now set permissions allowing users to copy work items from one workspace to another.

Custom fields for teams

The Team entity now supports user-defined fields. This allows you to store additional information on the Team entity, and also categorize and filter teams more efficiently.

Business rules are now supported for the following entities:
