Phases

Phases represent the current state of an item. As you work on items, advance them from phase to phase.

Overview

Entities can have primary and secondary phase transitions. These transitions are determined by the entity workflows. For details, see Workflow.

Use the phase switch to change an item's phase.

The switch is available in the item's Details view, and in the preview pane when focusing on a grid item.

Change an item's phase

You can perform the following actions:

Action	Method
Advance using the primary transition	Click the Next button.
Use a secondary transition	Expand the list and select a phase.
Undo a phase change without discarding other edits	Expand the list and select Current.
