Replication Configurations toolbar

Use the toolbar of the Replication Configurations section to define replication configurations for projects and baselines.

Button Description
Add a new project, baseline, or request replication configuration.
Delete the selected configurations.

Replication Configurations navigation area

In the Replication Configurations navigation pane, you can view a list of the replication configurations that have been defined for the base database. Select from the following filter options:

Option Description
Project Primary Configurations where this base database is the primary site that replicates projects to replica sites.
Project Replica Configurations where this base database is the recipient of project replications.
Baseline Primary Configurations where this base database is the primary site that replicates baselines to replica sites.
Baseline Replica Configurations where this base database is the recipient of baseline replications.
Request Primary Configurations where this base database is the primary site that replicates requests to replica sites.
Request Replica Configurations where this base database is the recipient of request replications.

To display a list of the configurations for the selected filter option, click the top-level Configurations icon.

To view the details of a configuration and its replica sites, click the specific Configuration ID node.

Replication Configurations content area

When you select the top-level Configurations icon in the navigation pane, the content pane displays a list of configurations. In the list, you can:

  • Select a configuration to edit its details or delete it. Click Select All  to select all the configurations in the list.

  • Display the list of configurations as an HTML page to print or save.

  • Save the list of configurations as comma-separated values.

  • Sort the configurations by column headings.

For each configuration, the content area includes the following information:

Column Description
Configuration ID The name of the replication configuration.
Site The primary DB site that is responsible for sending the replication. Consists of the node name, base database, and DB connection string.
Project ID
(for Project Primary or Project Replica only)
The full specification for the project to be replicated by the primary site, or the project to receive the replication by the replica site.
Replication Enabled Indicates whether replication can take place between a primary site and replica sites.

When you select a specific configuration in the navigation area, you can:

  • View and edit its details in the General section of the content area.

  • View, add, edit, and delete remote replica sites in the Remote Replicas section.

  • Project Primary or Project Replica only: View, add, edit, and delete local replica sites in the Local Replicas section.
