Relationships tab with requirements selected

Use the Relationships tab with requirements selected to view, edit, or unrelate requirements that are related to the selected request, or baseline.

The fields displayed on the Relationships tab depend on the dialog box and what has been selected in the Related Objects Class field.

Related Requirements tab

Field/Icon Description Rules and guidelines

Edit

Click to edit the requirement(s) selected on this tab.

 

Relate

Click to relate more requirement(s) to the selected object.

 

Unrelate

Click to unrelate the requirement(s) selected on this tab from the item whose properties you are editing.

 

Related Objects Class

Select the class of object to be displayed on the Relationships tab.

The options available depend on the currently selected object and your process model.

Click to display the list of requirements in a browser window.

You can print the list or save it as an HTML file.

Click to display the list of requirements as a list of comma-separated values.

You can save the list as a CSV file.

Children

A table of requirements with child relationships to the currently selected object.

 

Select All

Click to select or clear all requirements in the list.

 

Select checkbox

Click to select the requirement.

 

Navigate

Click to display an Open requirement dialog box for the related requirement (and dismiss this current dialog box).

 

Name

The name of the requirement.

Click to edit the properties of the requirement.

Class specification

The class specification of the requirement.

Display only.

Status

The current lifecycle state of the requirement.

Display only.

Relationship Type

The relationship type of the requirement.

Display only.

Parents

A table of requirements with parent relationships to the currently selected object.

(Fields displayed as for Children section above.)

 

To submit your changes, click Save.

To submit your changes and action the object whose properties you are editing, click Save and Action.
