Select Item wizard (page 1 of 2)

Use the Select Item wizard to select items.

On the first page of the wizard, set the filtering criteria for the items you want to list. You can specify that only items matching the specified criteria are to be shown.

Field Description

Filename

Enter the item project file name.

You can use the following wildcards:

  • Use an underscore (_) to match exactly one character. For example, d_g matches dog or dig.

  • Use an asterisk (*) or percent sign (%) to match any number of characters. For example, d*g matches dog or drag or dreaming.
Project folder path Enter the item project/stream folder. You can use wildcards.
Type Select or enter the item type. You can use wildcards.
Status Enter the item status. You can use wildcards.
Originator Enter the item originator. You can use wildcards.

Owning Design Part

Enter the specification of the design part that owns the item. Or click the browse button and use the Select Design Part wizard to find a design part.

You can use wildcards.
Revision Select All to search all item revisions. Select Latest Only  to search only the latest revisions.
Description Enter text to find in the item description. You can use wildcards.
Product Select or enter a product ID. You can use wildcards.
Item ID Enter the item ID. You can use wildcards.
