My Views

View your favorite grids and boards side by side in the My Views module.

Overview

You can add multiple tabs containing customized views of different entities. You can save the views as favorites that you can share within your organization.

The following entities are supported in the My Views module: Backlog Items, BDD Specifications, Epics, Features, Milestones, Releases, Requirements, Tests, Vulnerabilities.

After you create a view, you can filter the data, customize the grid or board display, and perform basic actions on the items.

Data visibility rules apply, based on your license and permissions.

Add a view

The My Views module can contain multiple views side by side.

To add a view:

  1. In the main menu, select My Views.

  2. When you open the My Views module for the first time, the New tab page displays.

    You can load content using the following options:

    Option Description
    Manage favorites Load an existing favorite. You can load favorites that were saved inside the My Views module. Favorites from other modules are not listed.
    Create new view Select an entity. The entity's items are displayed. Apply filters and grid customizations. You can save as a favorite.
    Import view

    Import a JSON file of an exported favorite configuration. For details, see Favorites.

  3. To add another tab, click the Add new tab + button adjacent to the last tab.

View options

The following options are available in the My Views module:

Option Description
Save favorite

To save a view as a favorite, click the Favorites button . For details, seeFavorites.
Layouts

You can display views in grid or board formats. For details, see Grids and views.
Toolbar actions Basic toolbar actions are available, such as: Add items, refresh, export.
Display customizations

You can customize the display with the following options: Choose columns, sort, group, and filter. For details, see Grids and views and Filters.
Search Search items in the grid or board. For details, see Search.
Sidebars Sidebars are available according to the entity, including: Quick filters, Preview, Planning.
Rename

To rename a view, click the More actions button on the view tab and select Rename.
Duplicate

To duplicate a view, click the More actions button on the view tab and select Duplicate.
Reorder To reorder view, hold and drag a view to a new position.
