ALM Web Client

ALM Web Client is a pure lightweight web-based client with release management, requirement management, test plan, test lab, test runs, defect management, and dashboard view functions. You can work with it without downloading the ALM client.

Web Client contains a subset of ALM client functions and features simple and modern UI, providing friendly and productive user experiences.

Web Client modules

Module	Details
Dashboards	View the dashboards that were added for your project from ALM Desktop Client. For details, see View dashboards.
Releases	Create releases and add cycles to releases for your project. For details, see Create releases.
Requirements	Define, manage, and track requirements at all stages of your project, from conception to delivery. For details, see Create and manage requirements.
Test Plan	Develop a text plan and design tests for your project. For details, see Create tests.
Test Lab	Define test sets, select tests to include in each test set, and run tests. For details, see Define test sets and run tests.
Test Runs	View the results of manual test runs. For details, see View test runs.
Defects	Submit new defects or link existing defects to entities. For details, see Create defects.

Area	Details
Workflow scripts customization	Write workflow scripts to customize Web Client user interface and control the actions that users can perform. You can also write advanced project scripts to implement control on Web Client data before it is saved to the database. For details, see Customize workflow.
