Manage requests in Eclipse IDE

You can work with requests from multiple request providers in the Dimensions CM for Eclipse IDE.

To work with external and native requests in Eclipse:

  1. From the Dimensions menu, select Dimensions CM Explorer.
  2. Log in to a Dimensions CM repository or add a new connection.
  3. (Optional) To change the default project/stream, right-click the Dimensions CM connection and select Properties. For details, see Set a default project/stream in Eclipse.

If your Eclipse workspace doesn't share projects with Dimensions CM, the Request view displays pending requests from all the providers mapped to the default project/stream.

If your Eclipse workspace shares projects with Dimensions CM projects/streams, the Request view displays pending requests only from those providers that are mapped to all the shared projects/streams.
